Web Production Assistant Job Description

Problem solving is your biggest strength. You are not a hardcode developer, but enjoy swimming through modules and looking at code snippets to achieve a result. Enjoy taking existing Photoshop concepts, and bring them to life through HTML/CSS. You have a drive for research and take pride in spending hours Googling for the right answer.

Reporting to the Project Manager and Partners, the Web Production Assistant supports our designers and developers in various areas of research, coding, and implementation. You will also be involved in client training and helping with level 2 technical support.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Turning Photoshop layered files into HTML/CSS
• Creating PHP templates from markup
• Loading text content into CMS
• Install modules on our CMS platform
• Help with minor development in areas of PHP, Facebook API, Javascript
• Train and support new and existing clients on CMS

 

Required Technical Skills:

• HTML/CSS (Expert)
• Photoshop (Intermidiate)
• JavaScript (Beginner)
• PHP (Beginner)

 

Asset (But not required):

• Linux Server Expirience
• SQL & Database Knowledge

 

Candidate Must:

• Be Internet savvy
• Have online research skills
• Be detail orientated
• Posses great oral communication skills
• Have excellent writing capabilities
• Be empathetic
• Be patient
