Webpage Editing

There are a few common functions you will use in the editing tool (easy-edit) in Driveit, for editing text, inserting images, and hyperlinking either or of the two.

Text

When editing text, simply type into the editor. Do not apply fonts or styles, these will override the site styles, and cause font inconsistency. You can, however use the Heading 1, 2 and 3 styles to formulate your styled headings.

If you will be copying and pasting text from a document into the editor, you will want to first place the text into wordpad (pc users) or text edit in plan text (mac users). This will remove any font styles attached to the text. For more on heading styles please see: www.clickspace.com/message/1068026/2

We highly recommend using FireFox or Safari as your web browser when using easy-edit. The editing tool used in Internet Explorer relies on active X controls and can behave erratically, especially on a Vista machine. Plus, let's face it, Internet Explorer is terrible anyhow. If you do not have FireFox or Safari installed on your machine, you may use the links below to download.
