The first step in engineering a relationship with your customers when they come to your website is to build a contact database . Every time someone visits your site, you are presented with the opportunity to collect contact information like name, email address, and phone number, in exchange for white papers, coupons, contests, newsletters, and also through survey responses.
Track Your Sales with Google Analytics
March 30th, 2009 by John
Did you know that you can track all your Ecommerce sales quickly and easily with Google Analytics? GA is our preferred method of tracking website visitors, and recently we’ve learned how to use the built in Ecommerce component with DriveIt.
By tracking your Ecommerce sales with Google Analytics you are able to analyze a number of things – including total revenue, individual products sold, and your overall rate of conversion. You’re also able to tell how many visits or days it took your customer before finally deciding to place an order. A list of referring websites and the total revenue from those sites is also available, which is useful when evaluating online advertising efforts.
If you’re a current DriveIt client and you’d like to setup tracking of your sales with Google Analytics please contact us for more information.
