Software Support Analyst

Our software support analyst position requires an individual who has a passion for customer service. If you love to assist customers via phone to provide technical assistance, then this is your ideal position. You will also be involved in a variety of roles from providing first level support to clients, to creating monthly newsletters and conducting training.

Location: Calgary, Alberta, Canada

Position: Full-Time / Permanent

Primary responsibilities will include:

  • Provide first line technical support to customers
  • Follow up with customer enquiries
  • Train clients on how to use our software
  • Keep up to date with new functionality to our software
  • Write a Feature Release Newsletter that describes the new functionality added to software
  • Track support issues and communicate issues with the development team
  • Implement new business processes as required to streamline existing procedures

The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications:

  • Certificate in either Business or IT field
  • Previous Helpdesk Experience
  • Knowledge of HTML

Required tools experience:

  • Microsoft Office 2000
  • Outlook

Key non-technical skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects with varying priorities in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to use a systematic approach in solving problems through gathering and analyzing available information
  • Ability to work successfully in a dynamic team
